ALBERT LEA, MN – The Jimmies just keep winning.
Jamestown’s ACHA Division 1 Men’s Hockey team improved to 12-0 Friday with a 4-1 win over Waldorf at the Albert Lea City Arena.
Chase Visser opened the scoring for the Jimmies with his second of the season at 6:48 of the first period.
Jamestown led 3-0 after two powerplay goals in the second period. Jacob Thomas notched his third at 4:23, followed by Brad Fortin’s 11th at 8:17.
Matthew McIntyre scored his second goal at 11:56 of the third period. Geoffrey Dick scored Waldorf’s only goal on the powerplay at 13:50.
Jamestown outshot Waldorf 51-26. Brandon Weare made 25 saves.
The Jimmies will again play Waldorf on Saturday in Albert Lea.
