JAMESTOWN – Three University of Jamestown men’s wrestlers picked up wins Saturday at the Jimmie Open, the season-opening event at Harold Newman Arena.
285-pound wrestler Chance Robinson won by a 12-4 major decision over Haaken Jacobsen of Bismarck State. He also defeated UMary’s Jose Reyes by forfeit.
Eli Barajas, at 125 pounds, won over Cyler Ruhoff of Sioux Falls in a 5-3 decision. Deklin Goeden topped teammate Aden Jorgensen in a 197-pound match.
Jamestown will wrestle Saturday at the Dakota Wesleyan Open in Mitchell.
