JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown has announced openings on several local committees and boards, inviting residents to apply for the chance to contribute to community decision-making. Applications are currently being accepted for an unexpired position on the Fire Code Board of Appeals, with a term extending to November 2026; an unexpired position on the Planning Commission, with a term ending in August 2029; an open position on the County Weed Board, with a four-year term lasting until December 2028; and a position on the Regional Airport Authority, with a five-year term concluding in December 2029.
Residents interested in serving on these boards or committees should submit an “Application for Appointment.” Forms are available at City Hall, located at 102 3rd Ave SE, Jamestown, or can be requested by calling (701) 252-5900. Alternatively, applications can be downloaded from the city’s website at jamestownnd.org under the government tab by selecting “City Committees.” Completed applications should be sent by November 15, 2024, to City of Jamestown, Attn: Appointments, 102 3rd Avenue SE, Jamestown, ND 58401-4205.
