JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Police Department is notifying residents about the presence of a new high-risk sex offender residing in the city.

Dalten Jason Rudy Perleberg, 25, lives at 612 14th Ave SE in Jamestown. He is described as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 210 pounds, with hazel eyes and blonde or strawberry hair. He does not own a vehicle.

Perleberg has been assigned a high-risk assessment by the North Dakota risk level committee, as part of actions by the Office of the Attorney General.

In 2020, Perleberg was convicted of 2 counts of gross sexual imposition, and 1 count of luring a minor by computer in Stutsman County.

Officials clarified that Perleberg is not wanted by law enforcement and has completed the sentence imposed by the court. This notification is intended for public safety and should not be used to instill fear or to threaten or harass Perleberg, his family, or others.
