DEVILS LAKE, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A fatal crash involving a single off-highway vehicle (OHV) occurred on the afternoon of Oct. 27, approximately two miles south of Devils Lake. The North Dakota Highway Patrol, in collaboration with the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office and Devils Lake Police Department, responded to the incident reported at 4:27 p.m.

According to a media release, Dustin Noble, 42, of Devils Lake, was operating a 2006 Polaris Ranger southbound on 26th Street SW, a gravel road. After negotiating a curve at a high rate of speed, the vehicle tipped onto its left side, causing Noble to be ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Conditions were clear, and the gravel road was reported to be in good condition. Investigators noted that Noble was not wearing restraints at the time of the incident. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the crash.
