ASHLAND, NE – University of Jamestown finished 15 of 27 women’s teams and 21st of 27 men’s teams Saturday at the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic at Mahoney State Park.

For the Jimmie women, Jordan Thorson ran in 23:52.  Brooke Olson set a personal best time with 24:03.  Emma Reeder ran in 24:12.7, her personal best.  Allyson Goodmanson finished in 24:24.3, also a personal best.  Kirsten Vander Kooi had a time of 25:24.3.  Jennifer Tallackson ran in 25:32.3.

Gavyn Graham was best for the Jimmie men in 26:15.2.  Cole Campbell was at 26:47.6.  Clark Lortscher finished in 26:48.4.  Landon Thompson ran in 26:52.2.  Lucas Dahl finished at 27:23.  Drew Hjelmstad was at 27:44.5.  Samuel Sampers crossed at 28:39.  Liam Pospisil finished at 28:46.1.  Graham, Lortscher, Thompson, Dahl, Sampers and Pospisil all had personal best times.

Both UJ teams will run in the NSAA Cross Country Championships on November 8 at Valley City Town & Country Club.
