FOND du LAC, WI – Ethan Esposito scored twice with two assists Friday as Sault College defeated University of Jamestown ACHA Division 2 Men’s Hockey 8-1 at Blue Line Family Ice Center in the Marian Showcase.

After Davis Thompson tied the game for Jamestown (4-6-0-0) with a powerplay goal 90 seconds into the second period, Esposito scored a shorthanded goal at 8:25 to give Sault a 2-1 lead.  He then set up a powerplay goal by Michael Starzomski at 11:21 and gave Sault a 4-1 lead with a powerplay goal of his own just 1:19 later.  Sault then scored four goals in the third period.

Xavier Baker made 35 saves for the Jimmies, who have lost five straight and will play the host Marian in Fond du Lac on Saturday.
