O’FALLON, IL – A three-game unbeaten streak ended for University of Jamestown ACHA Women’s Hockey Friday with a 4-0 loss to McKendree University at the McKendree Metro Ice Plex.

Janaya Laqua scored twice for the Bearcats (11-2-0-0).  Aria Groot and Kendra Shumaker also tallied for McKendree.

Makenzie Gibson made 10 saves on 14 shots for Jamestown (3-4-1-0) before being pulled just over halfway through the second period.  Lilah Drew played the rest of the game and stopped all 19 shots she faced.

UJ will play McKendree again on Saturday in O’Fallon.
