NAPOLEON- A win is a win, even if you come out of it feeling it could have been much better.

Undoubtedly, that is how Carrington feels after a 25-16, 25-13, 25-18 sweep of Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter on the road Thursday night.  The Cardinals (17-9, 5-1) got thirteen aces, including four each from Brynn Smith and Harper Kollman, and got seventeen assists and sixteen digs from Smith and 28 digs and three aces from Kenadie Pazdernik in the win.

After a straightforward first set, the Imperials (6-21, 1-4) jumped out to a 7-1 second set lead before Carrington scored 17 of the next 18 points and never looked back.  Astonishingly, the third set started even worse, as Napoleon/G-S starter out the set with a 9-0 lead before Carrington rallied to complete the sweep and have won seventeen consecutive regular season sets.

The Cardinals conclude the regular season on Monday night by traveling to Medina-Pingree-Buchanan with coverage on KDAK The Cardinal beginning at approximately 6:45 PM
