BARNES COUNTY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Someone has been driving around stealing political signs in Barnes County.
The thefts are occurring during daylight hours, a report has been filed with the Barnes County Sheriff’s office. So if you see something, say something to local law enforcement officials.
Three signs were stolen on Tuesday, October 22nd, off Hwy 1 and another off Hwy 46 by Litchville in Barnes County. The signs stolen included the names of Dan Johnston, Dwight Kiefert, and Mike Wobbema. The landowner of the property along Highway 1 said a Measure 4 sign was also removed from his property.
Anyone who witnesses political sign stealing should report it immediately to the Barnes County Sheriff’s office along with a description of the vehicle involved.
