JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) -Two people were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation following a house fire in southwest Jamestown on Wednesday.
The fire, located at 601 2nd St. SW, was reported around 5:45 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames coming from the crawl space of the home. A total of six units and 24 firefighters responded to the scene and quickly brought the fire under control.
Jamestown Area Ambulance transported two individuals to Jamestown Regional Medical Center for smoke inhalation.
Fire crews were on scene for nearly an hour and a half.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
