JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – City crews will be conducting fire hydrant flushing in several city areas starting today. The work will take place in the Southeast (SE), Southwest (SW), and Northeast (NE) sections, running from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day until Friday, October 25, 2024, or until the work is complete.

A media release states that residents in these areas may experience lowered water pressure during the scheduled flushing. The city advises motorists to exercise caution while traveling through affected neighborhoods where crews will work.

The hydrant flushing is a routine maintenance activity to ensure water quality and fire protection systems remain in good condition.
