JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Washington Elementary School’s Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is set to hold its annual Knoephla and Chili Drive-Through Fundraiser on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event aims to raise funds to support essential resources for the school, which are either not covered or underfunded by the existing school budget. These resources, deemed necessary by the staff, contribute to the education and support of the students.

Pints of Knoephla and chili will be available for $8 each. Tickets must be purchased in advance, either from Washington Elementary students, PTO members, or directly from the school office. Knoephla soup will be provided by The Grateful Plate, and chili will be supplied by a local food distribution service.

On the day of the event, pre-purchased pints can be picked up at the school’s north entrance. Drive-through service will be available, allowing participants to stay in their vehicles while volunteers deliver the pints to their cars—rain or shine.

Tax-deductible donations are also being accepted and can be collected by students, PTO members, or at the school office. Additional information and the event flyer are available on the Washington Elementary Facebook page, a media release states.
