JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – U.S. Senate candidate Katrina Christiansen will face off against incumbent Senator Kevin Cramer in their final debate on Wednesday, October 16, airing live on BEK News.

The debate, scheduled for 7 p.m. CST, will be Christiansen and Cramer’s third public exchange of the campaign season. Reflecting on the upcoming event, Christiansen expressed her appreciation for the debates, saying, “As we come down the home stretch of this campaign season, I want to thank Senator Cramer for participating in three debates. I disagree with him on policy issues, but giving North Dakotans the chance to hear our contrasting visions is vital for a healthy democracy. An informed choice is the right choice.”

Christiansen and Cramer have previously debated on the podcast Plain Talk and on Prairie Public. Recordings of those debates are available online.

The live broadcast of the final debate is expected to provide voters with one last opportunity to compare the candidates’ positions ahead of the November election.
