Carrington, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)—-The Carrington girls volleyball team defeated Kidder County in straight sets 25-18, 25-21, 25-23. The Cards improved to 13-9 overall and the Wolves dropped to 12-10-1.

Isabel Wendel paced the Cards offense with a match high 13 kills and added 15 assists. Calleigh Hewitt and Harper Kollman added 8 kills each. Kollman also added a match high 4 service aces. Kaydence VanRay and Sadie Lura added 6 kills each for the balanced Cardinal offense. Brynn Smith also added 15 assists and Kenadie Pazdernik added a match high 22 digs. Kidder County was paced by Ava Schmidt with 12 kills and Taylor Zimmerman added 10 kills. Breanah Pfaff had a match high 23 assists. Carrington will travel to Oakes Tuesday night for a big district 5 matchup.
