VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com) After a successful run through a tournament this past weekend, and a win in the region at Kidder County, the Medina-Pingree-Buchanan Thunder volleyball team will travel to Napoleon Tuesday night.

The Thunder improved their record to 16-4 with a win over Kidder County last week in regional play, then won five of six matches at the Enderlin/Lisbon tournament this past weekend.  Their record stands at 21-5.

In the win over Kidder County, Brynn Sorensen tallied 14 kills, with Maddie Gefroh adding 12, and Violet Bohl racked up 30 assists in a 25-11 25-9, 25-11 sweep of Kidder County.  In tournament play, the Thunder took 2-0 sweeps over Larimore, Hankinson, White Shield, Cavalier, and Sargent County, but fell 2-0 to Maple River.
