Jamestown Blue Jays Volleyball has been on the cusp of entering the media poll in Class A this season, but they are now in the top five for the first time.

The Blue Jays are fifth in the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters & Sportswriters poll, released Tuesday.

Jamestown is 11-6 over and 6-5 in the WDA after their “double-counter” win at home over Williston this past Saturday.

Fargo Shanley is Class A’s number one team, with nine of the 11 first-place votes.

Linton-Hazelton/Moffitt/Braddock remains atop a closely contested Class B poll.
