One AA contender is back in the poll, while AA’s big surprise enters.

Jamestown is fourth and surprise AA West leader Valley City is fifth in the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters & Sportswriters AA Football Poll, released Monday.

The Blue Jays, who left the top five after losing to Valley City, came back after their Friday win at Dickinson.  The Hi Liners, the only team at 2-0 in conference play, are in the ranking for the first time this season.

Grand Forks Red River is number one for the sixth straight week and is again a unanimous choice.

Fargo Davies remains the unanimous number one in AAA.
