JAMESTOWN – With double-counter matches ahead, Jamestown Blue Jay Volleyball simply wanted to take care of business Thursday and very much did so.

The Blue Jays easily swept Turtle Mountain 25-8, 25-9, 25-5 at Jerry Meyer Arena.

Lucy Falk led the attack for Jamestown (9-6, 4-5 WDA) with 15 kills and a block assist.  Brooklyn Busch had seven kills and two digs.  Mari Anderson scored six kills, a solo block and a block assist.

Edie Hegerle had 24 set assists, three kills and a solo block.  Amelia Newman and Jetta Peterson had eight digs each.  Peterson also served three aces.

One of the Blue Jays’ double-counter matches will be against Williston on Saturday at Jerry Meyer Arena.  Coverage will begin Saturday at around 2:45 PM on The Voice of the Blue Jays, Jamestown 107.1.
