HAWLEY, MN – With four golfers in the top six, University of Jamestown Men’s Golf’s UJ 1 team shot 24-over to tie Bemidji State for the team championship at the Comet Invitational, which concluded Wednesday at Hawley Golf Club.
Aidan Hall tied for fourth, shooting 146 (69-77). Gehrig Geiss (77-70) and Max Noffsinger (70-77) were in a sixth-place tie at 147. Bodie Williams fired 153 (77-76) to tie for 14th. Logan Douglas tied 18th at 155 (76-79).
The UJ 2 team was fifth at 59-over. Best for them was Cole Campbell at 154 (76-78), tying for 16th. Aiden McLain tied for 18th at 155 (82-73). Logan Schons was 22nd with 156 (82-74). Oscar Holmen had 166 (79-87) to tie for 33rd. Easton Romsdal fired 171 (88-83) and tied for 36th.
Next for the Jimmies will be the Morningside Invitational in Sioux City, Iowa on Monday and Tuesday.
