BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Wednesday, the North Dakota News Coop released a poll shedding light on the U.S. Senate race between Democratic challenger Katrina Christiansen and incumbent Republican Senator Kevin Cramer. The poll was conducted by WPA Intelligence, a Republican-affiliated firm also employed by Cramer’s campaign.

A media release states that the Cramer campaign expressed confidence in the poll’s findings. Campaign Spokesperson Kerry Billings said, “From the beginning of this campaign, we have relied on a highly reputable pollster. We trust our own numbers, and we will see whose numbers are right on Election Day.”

However, a release from the Christianson campaign addresses concerns about the poll’s impartiality, noting that the pollster is known for its Republican clients, including Senator Ted Cruz.

The Senate race is expected to heat up as both campaigns intensify their efforts in the lead-up to Election Day.
