I’m getting this walleye fishing report on the Missouri River out a little later this week, I was pulling a little double time with fishing and coaching hockey.

Last week was a week filled with wind, pre-fishing, and then angling in the Big Muddy fall walleye tournament. This week was a chance to go back through it all again to see what’s changed.

The first major change on the Missouri River is that the water has dropped considerably. It is, however, settling in finally and some of the potential spots are beginning to form.

We still haven’t seen a big push of fish up near Bismarck quite yet. It should happen here eventually, as soon as the water temperatures begin to drop things will happen.

I will be hitting it hard starting tomorrow. Stay tuned and I’ll keep you updated on what is happening on the Missouri River. Also, the bite was pretty good this weekend on both Devils Lake and Lake Sakakawea, from what I’ve heard. There are lots of options right now to get in on some good walleye fishing yet this fall in North Dakota.
