VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCPR) – Valley City Parks and Recreation is excited to partner with Donovan Tynes, a dedicated member of the men’s basketball team and a seasoned player with 16 years of experience, who will be hosting a basketball camp for young athletes. The camp, designed for students in grades 6-12, promises an exceptional opportunity for participants to enhance their skills and gain valuable insights into the game of basketball.

Camp Details:
· Dates: October 13 and 20, 2024
· Time: Sundays, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
· Cost: $20 per participant for both days
· Location: Rec Center Gym

As a NAIA-level basketball player, Donovan brings a wealth of experience to this camp, offering a comprehensive training approach that covers both physical and mental aspects of the game. Participants will benefit from personalized skill development in ball handling, shooting, defense, and rebounding, among other key areas.

Additional Information:
Players are encouraged to bring a water bottle.
The camp will feature four coaches from the VCSU Men’s Basketball Team. Donovan is eager to share his expertise and passion for basketball with the next generation of players. This camp aims to inspire young athletes to reach their full potential while having a great time on the court.
