(NewsDakota.com) – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) has been named to the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s (NSSF) 2024 Congressional Dean’s List, receiving an A+ rating in the organization’s latest Congressional Report Card. The report analyzes lawmakers’ support for the firearm industry and Second Amendment rights during the 118th Congress.

The NSSF, representing the firearm and ammunition industries, based its grades on key votes, co-sponsorships, committee activities, and other official actions. The media release states that Senator Cramer was recognized for his exemplary leadership. NSSF Senior Vice President Lawrence G. Keane highlights Cramer’s defense of the Second Amendment and the firearm industry.

Two legislative efforts by Cramer contributed to his recognition: the Fair Access to Banking Act, which seeks to prevent financial discrimination against firearm manufacturers, and the Firearms Interstate Commerce Reform Act, aimed at easing restrictions on interstate firearm sales.
