JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com/Jamestown Chamber) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce AgEnergy Committee is pleased to announce the return of the annual AgEnergy Luncheon  on Tuesday, October 15th at 12:00 PM  at the North Dakota Farmers Union headquarters in Jamestown.

 

This year’s event will feature a presentation by WDAY Chief Meteorologist John Wheeler, titled “Weather & Climate in North Dakota: Perspective Over A Career.”

 

John Wheeler, a seasoned meteorologist with a degree in meteorology from Iowa State University, has been with WDAY since 1985. Known for his keen interest in extreme weather events, particularly arctic air outbreaks and winter storms, Wheeler brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this year’s luncheon. His presentation will cover extended weather patterns and their impact on agriculture, offering valuable insights for our region’s agricultural community.

 

Tickets for the luncheon are available for just $10 and can be purchased online at JamestownChamber.com or in person at the Chamber office, located at 120 2nd St. SE, Jamestown.
