WILLIAMSBURG, KY – University of Jamestown Women’s Soccer managed just one shot on goal Monday against the top-ranked NAIA women’s soccer team, falling to the University of the Cumberlands 4-0 at the UC Soccer Complex.

Jamestown held Cumberlands scoreless until Carola Fontan scored on a header in the 36th minute.

Jayden Boelter then scored in the 59th minute, followed by an Olaya Blanco goal in the 66th minute and a tally by Abigail Little in the 83rd minute.

Gaby Sarkis had the Jimmies’ only shot on goal.  Allyson Johnson played 77 minutes in net, making six saves.  Isa Garcia made one save in the remaining 13 minutes.

UJ will host Minnesota-Crookston in the team’s home opener Sunday at Rollie Greeno Field at Charlotte & Gordon Hansen Stadium.
