JAMESTOWN – They’re back.

Jamestown Blue Jays Boys Soccer earned a second straight berth in the state tournament Thursday by routing Dickinson 7-0 at Rotary Field.  The Blue Jays cannot finish any lower than fourth in the West Region, from where the top four teams make the state tournament.

Ian Lere scored a hat trick for Jamestown (11-0-0, 11-0-0 WDA), starting in the ninth minute.  Iddi Ramadhani scored a minute lead for a 2-0 Blue Jay lead.  Grady Eckart scored in the 29th minute and Lere scored again in the 39th minute and Jamestown had a 4-0 lead at halftime.

Lere completed his hat trick in the 47th minute.  Brady Harty scored in the 49th minute and Peace Tukumunde tallied in the 72nd minute.

Grant Lunde and Evan Harty each had one save in goal as the Blue Jays registered their third straight shutout.  Jamestown has not given up a goal in 251 minutes.

JHS will host Williston Saturday afternoon at Rotary Field.
