JAMESTOWN – Three straight years have meant three straight wins.
University of Jamestown Women’s Golf won the UJ Invitational for the third straight year at Jamestown Country Club, with the UJ 1 team shooting+68 to win the two-day event, which concluded Monday, over five shots over UMary.
Isabella Crafford won individually with 153 (78-75). Also from the UJ 1 team, Celi Nelson was sixth at 163 (80-83), with Ellie Garavaglia seventh at 164 (82-82) and Tori Worner (86-81) and Kyra Hager (83-84) tying for 12th at 167.
The UJ 2 team was fifth. Individually, Taylor Martin was 17th at 173 (79-94), Ava Thorensen shot 181 (93-88) for 20th, Karsyn Swigart shared 22nd at 188 (98-90), Kacie Recin fired 193 (97-96) to finish 26th and Mya Wimer was 32nd at 207 (101-106).
Peyton Johnson competed individually and fired 190 (97-93) to finish 24th.
Jamestown will compete Sunday and Monday at the NSAA Championship at CrossRoads Golf Course in Carrington.
