VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NDHP) – A 27-year-old Valley City man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday, September 14th, at approximately 8:15 PM. The crash occurred in Valley city near the 800 block of 14th street southwest.

The Highway Patrol said Torrey Morehouse was traveling westbound on 14th street southwest and lost control of the his 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The motorcycle came to rest on top of Morehouse in the roadway.

Morehouse sustained serious, but none-life threatening injuries, and was transported by ambulance to the Mercy Hospital in Valley City, and then to Fargo Essentia Hospital. Morehouse was not wearing a helmet.

Morehouse was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. The Valley City Police Department asked the North Dakota Highway Patrol to investigate this crash which remains under investigation.
