WALNUT RIDGE, AR – Sophomore midfielder Vega Canada scored four times, including twice in a five-goal UJ second half, and Jimmie Women’s Soccer routed Williams Baptist Saturday 7-3 at the WBU Soccer Field.

Canada scored in the 2nd and 24th minutes and Jamestown (3-2) led 2-0 at halftime.

Canada netted her third in the 47th minute for a 3-0 advantage.  Jamestown later scored three goals in 73 seconds to take control.  Eunity Pate and Sidney Mikes both tallied in the 55th minute, followed by another Pate goal in the 56th.

Williams Baptist scored three goals in less than 14 minutes before Canada scored her last in the 86th minute.

The Jimmies outshot WBU 34-11 and 21-7 on goal.  Allyson Johnson and Isa Garcia combined for seven saves.

Jamestown will face Marian University on Monday in Indianapolis, Indiana.
