VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 25-year-old Valley City man is facing charges, after he allegedly assaulted another man with a knife outside a Valley City bar.

Police were called to a report of a fight near Boomers Corner Keg on Wednesday, September 11th.

Dalten Perleberg faces a charge of aggravated assault with a weapon.

Investigators believe Perleberg assaulted a man with a knife and an improvised weapon after an argument in the bar.

Perleberg made his initial court appearance before Judge Jay Schmitz in the Barnes County Courthouse on Thursday, September 12th.
