JAMESTOWN – After a hard-fought loss Tuesday, Jamestown Blue Jay Volleyball showed virtually no letdown Thursday.

The Blue Jays were in control for virtually the entire match in a three-set win over Mandan, 25-14, 25-20, 25-17 at Jerry Meyer Arena.

Attack scoring was balanced for Jamestown (7-3, 2-2 WDA), with Lucy Falk having 11 kills, Leah Trumbauer notching 10 and Mari Anderson scoring nine.  Falk also had a block.  Trumbauer an ace and five blocks.  Anderson had two blocks and two digs.

Edie Hegerle had 25 kills and 13 assists.  Jetta Peterson recorded 19 blocks and two aces.

Lily Thomsen had eight kills and 11 assists for Mandan (2-8, 0-4).

The Blue Jays will have the third of their three straight matches at home Tuesday against Bismarck Century at Jerry Meyer Arena.
