JAMESTOWN – Gresh Jones has been named as the new head coach for Men’s Wrestling at the University of Jamestown.

For the last three seasons, Jones has been the head coach at Williston High School, leading the Coyotes to third- and fourth-place finishes in the NDHSAA Boys State Wrestling dual tournament.  Twice he was named as the WDA Coach of the Year and was also named as North Dakota Coach of the Year.

Previously, Jones had been an assistant coach at Dickinson State, his alma mater.  While competing for DSU, he was a national qualifier four times with finishes of third and fourth place and was a two-time NAIA All-American.
