The Grand Forks Central Knights shut out Valley City on the scoreboard, winning 9-0. The Hi-Liners are still in search of their first win of the season, and they’ll look to regroup for tomorrow’s match against the West Fargo Packers.

Valley City Head Coach Matt Neilson has nothing but praise for the opposition: “This team has been at a high level for many years with several Spicers and Panzers moving through along with a dedicated coaching staff in Max Wieser, Terry Paukert, and Nick Graves.” Nielson also mentioned that this match solidified the team’s doubles pairings for the rest of the season despite the loss.
