VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Avalynn Fischer was 11 months old when she passed away due to surgical complications on October 19th of 2022.

Her mother, Paige, said the family was inspired to organize Avalynn’s fly high foundation after her daughter passed away.

Paige’s brother, Matt Brandvold said the fundraising event raised more than $35-thousand-dollars last year.

He said money raised from this event benefits several charitable organizations.

A free will donation dinner of BBQ’s, Hotdogs, Pasta Salad, Beans, Chips and Bars will be served. There will be Bounce Houses and Face Painting for children along with live music by Lilly Danielle. The full interview with Matt Brandvold is below.
