While the Hi-Liners boys tennis team failed to pick up the team win in their most recent match, they have already eclipsed the total of individual wins from last season. Quin Kruger picked up a pair of wins in singles and doubles play with Cole Haugen. Kellen Westman won in the super tiebreaker for his first varsity singles victory of his career and to keep the match alive. Noah Tulp won in straight sets to push his EDC singles record to 3-0.

Head Coach Matt Neilson says that he is proud of the strides his team has made from last season and the work they’ve put in so far. The next action for Valley City will be Tuesday at Grand Forks Central with a 3:30 pm start time at Riverside Courts.
