JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Blue Jays cross country swept duals Friday from Valley City at Parkhurst Recreation Area.

The Jamestown girls scored 25 points as the Hi-Liners had 34.  Valley City’s Greta Goven won individually at 21:00.46.  Jamestown’s best finisher was Layna Hoffer, second at 21:50.19.

The Blue Jays boys had seven of the top 10 finishes, winning 24 to 38 over Valley City.  Micah Stoudt of Jamestown was the winner individually at 18:37.38, with the Hi-Liners’ Jack Sorby second at 18:48.99.

Jamestown will next run at the MSU-Moorhead Dragon Twilight Meet on Friday, September 13.  Valley City will run next on Saturday, September 14 at the Anderson/Stavn Invite in Bismarck.
