Allen Dale Aarseth was born May 25, 1951, in Fargo, North Dakota to Archie and Carol (Nesse) Aarseth.
In 1971, he married Paula Ertelt and together they shared two daughters Tamara and Amy.
Allen served two years in the United States Army where he received a certificate for welding which helped in working various construction jobs over the years.
He met and married Renee Maasjo in 1978 with whom he shared 41 years of marriage and two children, a son Jason and a daughter Sara. Allen and Renee owned the Nome Bar for five years -before moving to the Maasjo farm in the 1990s where he farmed with his brother-in-law Eldon Maasjo until retiring in 2021.
Allen always had a love for fishing any time of year (which we believe came from his dad, Archie) and camping with family and friends. Most days, Allen could be found driving around with a couple of beers checking on how the crops were doing. This is where he reconnected with Paula (Ertelt) Anundson, now fiancé, who has been there through his battle with cancer.
Allen is survived by his son Jason; fiancé Paula (Ertelt) Anundson; daughters Tamara Anderson and Amy Perdue; son-in-law Jason Walker; brothers Ray and Loren; sister Susan Hanson and brother-in-law Eldon (Shari) Maasjo. He was loved by many grandchildren Samantha (Josh), Teanna (fiancé Brandon), Abby, Jacob, Breanna, Payton and Dylan and great grandchildren Jailee, Easton, Saylor, Bryson, Bently, Brixton, Harper and Rowan.
Allen was preceded in death by his wife Renee, daughter Sara, his parents, brothers Duane and Donald, brother-in-law Steven Hanson, parents-in-law Randolph and Edna Maasjo and many friends who passed before him.
