BISMARCK, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Three people, including two children, were injured in an ATV rollover crash Saturday evening north of Bismarck, according to a media release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred at approximately 8:31 p.m. on Aug. 24, near mile marker 94 on U.S. Highway 83. A 2022 Can Am Defender, driven by 43-year-old Bryce Weisbeck of Bismarck, was traveling south in the west ditch when the vehicle overturned after an overcorrection.

Weisbeck and a 9-year-old male passenger were ejected from the vehicle, suffering serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A 7-year-old female passenger, who was not ejected, sustained minor injuries. None of the occupants were wearing seat belts or helmets at the time of the crash.

All three were transported to Sanford Bismarck for medical treatment. The names of the juveniles have not been released.

Weisbeck is facing charges of driving under the influence (DUI) with a minor. The Burleigh County Sheriff’s Office, Metro Ambulance, Metro Fire, and the North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
