KATHRYN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two people were injured in a UTV rollover crash in LaMoure County on Saturday afternoon, according to a release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Clay Hatlewick, 30, of Yipsilanti, was driving the 2023 CFmoto UTV in a muddy field about eight miles southwest of Kathryn when he lost control of the vehicle. The UTV overturned and came to rest on its top.

Hatlewick did not require transport by EMS, while his passenger, 36-year-old Tiffany Winson of Jamestown, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She was taken to Mercy Hospital in Valley City by Barnes County Ambulance.

Neither individual was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, officials said.

Hatlewick has been charged with driving under the influence and criminal vehicular injury. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
