The memorial service for service Steven F. Zimprich, 74, Cooperstown, ND, will be 1:00
PM, Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at the Fargo National Cemetery (Harwood, ND). He
died Friday, August 16, 2024, at his home.

Steven Zimprich was born July 19, 1950, in Sharon, ND, the son of Francis and Marie
(Pittenger) Zimprich. He grew up and attended school in Cooperstown. An Army veteran
of the Vietnam war, and Bronze Star recipient, Steve served from 1969 to 1971. After his discharge from the service, he returned to the Cooperstown area.

He married Janet Paulsen on February 6, 1971, in Cooperstown. They farmed for several years, and he worked ten years at John Deere Seeding Group in Valley City where he retired. He served several years on the Washburn Township Board, and many other boards during his lifetime.

Steve is survived by his wife of 53 years; son Kelly, Colorado Springs, CO; daughter Sarah (Justin) Wells, Clawson, MI; daughter Stacey (Richard) Bittner, Colorado Springs, CO; son Christopher, Tumwater, WA; brother Robert, Cambridge, MN; sister Karen Forde, Menahga, MN; an uncle Jim (Shelly) Zimprich, Jessie, ND; an aunt Rosemary Flick, Alexandria, MN; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Francis and Marie and his brother Jerald.
