VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – An early morning fire displaced a Valley City family in the 500 block of 7th Street Northwest on Monday, August 19th.

Fire Chief Scott Magnuson said the fire started in the garage near the home. He said all the residents got out safely and no injuries were reported.

He said the Salvation Army and the American Red Cross have been called to help the family with temporary shelter. Magnuson said the cause of the fire remains under investigation; the home is located at 522 7th Street northeast.
