JAMESTOWN – Gabe Halko scored a goal and an assist Friday as Jamestown Blue Jays Boys Soccer opened its season with a 3-0 win over Mandan-St. Mary’s at Rotary Field.

Iddi Ramadhani opened the scoring in the 11th minute.  Halko, set up by Carter Genter, tallied in the 20th minute.  Halko then set up Ian Lere to round out the Jamestown scoring in the 67th minute.

The Blue Jays had 24 shots on goal and goalkeeper Grant Lunde needed to make just two saves.

Jamestown will play Saturday at Dickinson.
