VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  The Hi-Liner girls golf season is underway after opening with a home event Friday.

Valley City finished with a team 527 at Bjornson Park Public Golf Course in Valley City, a full Eastern Dakota Conference event.

Kylie Van Bruggen led the Hi-Liners with a 105.  Madison Nelson shot 124, Veronica Remick fired a 143, and Anna McMenamin tallied a 155.

The Hi-Liners play two two-day events this week.  Monday and Tuesday will see Valley City in Jamestown in the East-West crossover event, and the Hi-Liners travel to Wahpeton for two days Thursday and Friday for an event at Bois de Sioux.
