CASSELTON, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota Soybean Processors (NDSP) has officially opened its new state-of-the-art facility near Casselton, offering local soybean producers a convenient and profitable market for their crops. The facility, which boasts the capacity to receive 50,000 bushels per hour and process 125,000 bushels daily, is set to revolutionize the soybean industry in the region by providing better prices and services to farmers in North Dakota and Minnesota.

The NDSP plant aims to deliver significant economic benefits to area farmers by offering higher contract prices per bushel compared to export contracts. A media release states that processing soybeans locally enables NDSP to provide better returns, making it an attractive option for producers looking for a reliable, year-round market.

The facility features a spacious staging area capable of accommodating 70 trucks, minimizing congestion along nearby roads and ensuring efficient operations. NDSP’s commitment to a farmer-first approach is reflected in its blended portfolio of pricing tools, competitive cash bids, and flexible payment options, which allow farmers to select the best fit for their operations. Additionally, onsite checks for same-day or next-day payment provide further convenience.

The new location not only benefits farmers but also stimulates local economic activity by creating demand for transportation providers to haul and deliver crops. NDSP has already hired strong local talent, and with plans to employ 75 full-time staff members once fully operational, the company continues to seek candidates for open positions, which can be found on their website.

NDSP is also committed to engaging with the Casselton community and surrounding areas. The company plans to support local nonprofit organizations, promote agricultural education, and build up local youth through programs and volunteer efforts, a media release states. The NDSP Social Committee is actively seeking opportunities to contribute to community causes through acts of volunteer service and philanthropy.
