BISMARCK, N.D. (DOCR) – The North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOCR) has named Robyn Schmalenberger as the newly-formed position of Reentry Program Manager.
Schmalenberger has been with the DOCR for more than 25 years and most recently as a Community Corrections Case Manager for North Dakota Parole, Probation, and Pretrial Services.
The goal of the reentry program manager will be to streamline all reentry services throughout the department and engage community partners and tribal nations to establish a robust system tackling barriers and improving service accessibility.
Focusing on reentry by engaging residents earlier on in their incarceration provides an opportunity to ensure the DOCR can capture roadblocks, opportunities, and service needs for everyone.
Schmalenberger will begin her position September 2. For more information regarding the ND DOCR, please visit docr.nd.gov.
