MASON, MICHIGAN – The Hi-Liner Clay Target Team competed in the USA Clay Target League Trap Nationals in Mason, Michigan on July 12, 13, and 14. Five individuals participated on the team; John Olson, Jakob Stainbrook, Jack Lerud, Bodi Haglund, and Claire Shanenko. Out of the five, only Jakob had competed at Nationals before.

There were 1,734 shooters competing as an individual. In individual competition, John’s average was 91; Jakob’s was 95, Jack’s was 91, Bodi’s was 87, and Claire’s was 88. With the individual scores, no one made it into the finals. There were 261 teams competing, and our team placed 210. In the team competition, John’s average was 89, Jakob’s was 91, Jack’s was 93, Bodi’s was 83, and Claire’s was 77.
