LAMOURE- For the first time since 1958, Lisbon Post 7 are Legion State Champions.

Cam Opp and Wyatt Olson combined on a one-hitter as Lisbon ended a title drought of 66 years with a 5-0 win over defending champion Thompson on Monday night at Townsend Field.

Brandt Levos laced a two-run double and later scored on an Olson single in the second for a 3-0 lead.  That was all Lisbon needed as Opp struck out seven over 5 1/3 innings of one-hit ball.  Lincoln Adair and Jayden Bittner added RBIs for the champs.

(Second Semifinal): Thompson 9 LaMoure 0

Jeromy Tice capped off a six-run top of the first inning with a three-run double and tossed three shutout innings as Thompson advanced to the state championship with a 9-0 win over LaMoure in the second semifinal on Monday night.
