LAMOURE- The 2024 Class B Legion Baseball State Tournament continued Sunday at Townsend Field in LaMoure.
(Elimination Game): Carrington 2 Burlington 0
Kyle Johnson tossed a complete game seven-hit shutout and Hudson Schmitz and Ryder Bickett each drove home a run as Carrington eliminated Burlington 2-0. The Bulldogs stranded thirteen in the game as Post 25 advanced to another elimination game.
(Elimination Game): Thompson 3 Park River 0
(Semifinal): Lisbon 3 LaMoure 1
Kash Wadeson carried a no-hitter into the sixth as Lisbon advanced to the state championship game with a 3-1 win over their District VII rivals LaMoure. After a single by Owen Lesko tied it at 1 in the sixth, Jordyn Bittner delivered a two-run go-ahead single in the bottom half that proved decisive.
(Elimination Game): Thompson 6 Carrington 4
Thompson got two runs in the last of the sixth inning to keep defense of their state championship alive in a 6-4 win over Carrington. Thomas Schumaker drove in the go-ahead run with a single through a drawn-in infield. Ryder Bickett and Josh Bickett each scored twice for Carrington.
