LAMOURE- The 2024 Class B Legion Baseball State Tournament continued Saturday at Townsend Field in LaMoure.

11:00 am (Elimination Game): Carrington 8 Cando 4

Grady Shipman went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and two runs scored and tossed five innings of two-hit, one-run ball while striking out nine as Carrington defeated Cando 8-4 to advance to Sunday.  Jack Erickson reached base three times and scored three runs in the win.

4:00 pm (1-0 game): Lisbon 7 Park River 4

A back-and-forth game was decided on a run in the bottom of the fifth that broke a 4-4 tie before Lisbon added two in the sixth to advance to a semifinal on Sunday

6:30 pm (1-0 Game): LaMoure 11 Burlington– 0 (5)

LaMoure scored five in the first and four more in the second as they rolled to an easy win to advance to Sundays semifinal.  Owen Lesko allowed just four hits and struck out three in the complete game win.
